Barbeque Covers
Barbeque-Serving 25 people-How much in quantity of food/price?
Planning on throwing a barbeque at my house. This is one of those barbeque where each person will be ask to donate money for the overall purchase of the barbeque supplies-plates, cups, beer, skirt stake, burgers, burger buns, hot dogs and hot dog buns.
Given the amount of people that will be there-how much should I ask from each person to cover the cost.
Also-if anyone knows-I need to know the quantity of meat I need to buy-how much packs of steak, hot dogs, burgers (planning to buy meat from Sam’s).

I would suggest people BRING an item, it is much less imposing feeling than asking for people to pay cash. If you had a list people could ’sign up’ for 1-2 things. And BYOBeer is a good suggestion too. If you use evite.com to send out invites you can include a list of needed items (or the cost to attend).
If you are set on having people pay, I would say $6-7/person should be sufficient.
Also – I am not sure that having 3 meats is necessary. If dogs and burgers are available that would be plenty (and cheaper – then maybe $5/person) and NO steaks. You do not want to have 0 steaks left for some people and a ton of hot dogs for them only.
