How do you barbeque?
Hey im havin a bbq on friday.im just tryin to put some burgers,hot dogs,and some chicked wings on the grill.my pops has charcoal/gas grill so i could use either.what pocedure do i need to do to have a good food for a good day.
the grill choice is based on personal preference. I currently own both, even though it is a little more work to use the charcoal grill it leaves a great smoky flavor on the food. DO NOT use too much lighting fluid otherwise your food will taste like it. If you can get a lighting tower. For the chicken wings, whether you are doing BBQ or Buffalo let them marinade for just a few hours 4 tops; otherwise the acid content in both condiments will start to denature the proteins in the chicken giving you a tough meat and not much flavor. For the burgers place on the grill, for about 3-4 min on each side, you may add cheese after one side is done. Watch the heat as it may vary from spot to spot. For the sausages it depends on the sausage and your preference, if it is a brat you want to cook for about 5 min per side, for regular hot dogs 2-3 min should do the trick. If you want to get really technical get a thermometer and make sure that all the meat has reached at least 160°F in the inside.
