Barbeque Grill Cover
What is the best way to cook corn on the cob on the barbeque grill?
With the husks..without, how long..etc???
I have a charcoal grill and it also can be covered with a domed lid.
We clean the silk, soak the corn for about 15 minutes in a big crab pot filled with cold water, and remove a few of the extra leaves of the husks from each.
Make sure you shake all the excess water from the corn, and spray or brush the kernels with olive oil – NOT BUTTER (you can butter it before eating).
Season it with some garlic, black pepper, salt, etc. if you want as well, then wrap the husks back around the kernels and tie into place with one of the extra husk pieces (that’s what we save them for) or kitchen twine.
Put the corn on the grill and turn them a few times so the outsides don’t get charred too much on any one side, then move them to where they’re away from direct heat, close the cover of the grill and let them cook for about 15 minutes.
