Do you think having BBQ catering at my wedding is tacky?
I’m getting married this summer and my fiance has recommended we do a BBQ buffet for the catering. Sounds a bit tacky, or not?
“Tacky” has to be the most overused word ever when it comes to weddings. You know what’s tacky? Rudeness. Judging others on unimportant things like the food they serve when you should be at their wedding because you love them and you’re happy for them.
If it’s not rude, it’s not tacky. And there is nothing rude about asking loved ones to celebrate with you and feeding them when they do.
