Is this a good pulled pork recipe?

It seems to have a lot of good ratings, but sounds too simple to taste very good. It’s just pork, root beer, and bbq sauce.
Also, I’ll be cooking a 4 lb pork butt (aka pork shoulder) in my crock pot. How long should I cook it on high?

I made bbq pulled pork earlier this week and my family raves about it. I take my boneless roast and put it in the slow cooker and I fill to cover with chicken stock. I let it cook on low for about 8 hours (3 lb roast) when it is done cooking i drain the stock take out roast and shred in a bowl, I add it back to the empty crock pot and add a generous amount of KC Masterpiece original bbq sauce and mix well to coat all the meat and then keep it on warm for a bit and keep mixing for a while so that all the meat absorbs the sauce well and is not at all dry, after about a 1/2 hour of that I serve on bulky rolls, they are as good if not better than any I have had in a restaurant. If you follow exactly you will not be disapointed, my husband jokes that I should sell them!!
