BBQ grill cleaning question?
To all the grillers out there. When do you clean your grills? After every BBQ or only before the next one? Do you remove all food particles before closing the lid for the night or just leave ‘em there till next time? I’m having a debate on proper cleaning etiquette with a buddy of mine.
It’s much messier to clean it right after grilling. I personally do it before the next grilling by turning it on high for about 10 to 15 minutes, then scrape the hell out of it with the wire brush. As far as sanitation goes, I don’t think it really matters. The heat will kill off any germs or bacteria. As far as etiquette, well, that depends. Are you having your girlfriends family over? Or are you just going to have some buddies sitting around passing a bowl, listening to Dick Pick’s, Vol. 16, disc 1 with a case of beer? That’s my take!
