Build A Meat Smoker

woodworking project ideas?

well i am taking wood shop class at school and next week we are starting to build our own projects but i dont know what to build. anyone have any ideas, list as many as possible. i would like to make something related to either, the maple leafs, hockey, fishing, or if possible, a smoker for meats.

A very simple but useful first project could be a coat or hat rack to hang on a wall. You can buy or make pegs to fit into holes you drill in a board that you have finished. I made about ten of these for Christmas presents one year and they are all still in use.
