Capital Barbecue
How do Canadians justify killing animals for food?
I mean when you are eating turkey or chicken or beef or bison, whatever it may be you eat, do you realize what you’re actually eating?
You’re eating a healthy innocent animal that was taken to a slaughterhouse and then chopped up and then cut out so you can enjoy the taste of what is mostly barbecue sauce and salt anyway!
So Canadians are friendly people, they don’t even believ e in capital punishment. So how do Canadians justify capital punishment of innocent cows and chickens and turkeys and pigs? What is a Canadian explanation for it?
I know I also am just as guilty. I ate Japanese chicken and shrimp for dinner. But now I feel better because I know it’s not un-Canadian. Canada is a peaceful country and therefore it must be logical killing animals for food does not spur wars.
What about Moose? Deer? Fish? Elk? In my house we eat all of those animals. Bison the odd time, not a big fan of it. My Husband’s ancestors lived on wild game.
I know what I am eating, most of the time I see it hanging sometimes I even see it as it is shot or caught, does it bother me to eat it? nope, and if you were to come to my house and have an elk or moose steak I guarantee you would not taste BBQ sauce or salt!
Capital Punishment does not extend to animals, they are bred and raised for a purpose and that purpose is for us to eat them.
Just because Canadian Government does not believe in or endorse capital punishment that does not mean all Canadian Citizens are against it.
