Crock Pot Barbeque Ribs
How else could I fix ribs in a crock pot without making them barbeque ribs?
I am cooking for my parents, grandparents, and inlaws tomorrow night but will be at work all day. I was planning on fixing ribs in the crockpot while I’m at work, HOWEVER, I am not having baked beans and fries with my ribs. I wanted more of a gourmet way or sauce to fix them besides barbeque. My side dishes are tomato basil casserole, green beans, creamed corn, and garlic roasted potatos… Any suggestions???
You could place the ribs in the crock pot and add about 2 cups of stock, broth, bullion or half water and half wine. Season with Italian seasoning, salt pepper and allow to cook slowly all day while you are at work. It’s simple enough to do, but isn’t heavy like BBQ ribs.
