any good ideas for a BBQ party for adults?
were having a leaving party for our friends, as there going traveling. its this saturday, praying the weathers ok. and there will be some guests we dont know, thats friends of one of the people going. so we need some ideas for food, a punch bowl? and entertainment.
keep it clean people keep it clean!!
we have a fairly good size garden space for a decent size BBQ and tables, were fun loving hippys and like playing the guitar so would like something original and special planned.
when i said adults i meant there will be no kids (as we have 2) and that involves maybe some drinking games!!!!!?

Decorative Ice Block or Ring for Bowl
Empty clean milk container (cut it in half leaving the bottom portion.)Or you can use a tupperware style jello ring mold for this too.
Fill with water (preferably spring or distilled water and you can use the carton too. :0) Then add some of your flowers from the garden (Make sure it isn’t Oleander or a poisonous kind.) along with fruit slices to fit the type of punch.
Then place in your freezer night before. This will help keep punch cold and interestingly Hippy!

Instead of Punch Go with Refreshing- (PinkLemon/Limeade)
From the frozen section of the store a container of Pink Lemonade Concentrate and a Limeade Consentrate mix.(pick up extra to add to the bowl as you go.)
Follow directions for adding water and allow it to be a little stronger so as the ice block starts to melt it will not dilute the drink.

You can add Iced Tea ****as well in a pitcher on the side float fresh brite orange slices in it.(For those who don’t fancy Lemon/Lime drink) add mint sprigs too.

Variety of Canned sodas in a tub with ice along with some bottled water is always appreciated and welcomed.

Tastey Grilled Hamburgers
In a bowl mix up your hamburger and add finely chopped onion, a type of pepper cheese or your favorite cheese, little salt and splash of BBq sauce from bottle or homemade with a little sugar to help sweeten meat. Then mix and patt out into patties before grilling.
Or
Grill Hamburgers as usual and add Provalone cheese to melt on top just before removing from grill. Served on reg buns or Kiaser Buns. And a big Bowl of potato chips!!

Refreshing Side Salads
Pickup already made potato salad or macaroni salad.
You should have some type of cool salad to go on side. Even if it is a regular toss salad with freshly sliced tomatoes.

Sweet Herbed Corn on Cob
Find some sweet corn and it is best cooked on stove top first
in a pot of sugar water to help sweeten it as it cooks.
Serve up on a platter with hot butter melted on top and sprinkle with salt and sage Herb on top.(grilling drys it out)

Tropical Flair Dessert
You can have small Key Lime Pie slices and coconut cake slices mixed together on plates ready to go. Makes for a tropical taste as well.

Games
Go with a Horseshoe or Ring Toss, Old fashion Badmitten,
Set up a tile or Flat level plyboard on ground and lay down some empty beer/coke bottles on its side (not standing bottles- Idea of game is to stand them up.)and have a bamboo cane with string tied on end of it and a bamboo ring at the end of the string just large enough to fit around top of bottle necks. Four people can play this at same time. One on each side of the plyboard.From here they will stand behind a line and try to swing the ring around the necks of the bottles and stand it up on end.
This takes skill and is fun (Another old fashion carnival game
