How to cure teen picky eating?
i have been a picky eater since i was about 6. im now 12. my mom is a dietitian but she cant find a way to make me eat. i only eat:
cereal, all fruit, plain chicken, pasta with marina sauce (no meatballs), steak, cucumbers, cooked carrots, yogurt, JUNK FOOD, mozzerella sticks, pizza (sometimes), bagels (no creamcheese), clams, mussels
Things i WONT eat:
sandwiches, turkey, ham, rice, cheese, ketchup, mustard, pesto, parmesian chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, bacon, sausage, casserole, spinich, meatloaf, soup, chowder, chili, fish, almost any meat, almost any asian food, mexican, fritos, guacamole, salsa, nachos, any condiment, stew, nuts, barbecue tomato, squash, lettuce, peppers, meatballs… there are a lot more
i really want to eat normal food, because everyone in my family and school make fun of me. i lie to my friends, and am thinking about becoming anerexic. i know i disappointing my family, and my mom tries to cook new things, but i won’t eat.
help!!
Picky or not your diet looks ok.
As your mom is a dietitian she is used to planning the perfect diet, but she shouldn’t pressure you.
Your friends are unkind. Why do they notice your, to me, ok diet and make fun of you?
If you ignore it, never mention it, they will find something and someone else to make fun of. Youngsters are like that.
If you have energy and are healthy what’s the worry?
Please don’t even think of becoming anorexic. Think how that would worry your mom and the rest of the family. Your mean friends would all be talking behind your back then.
Nobody would want to lose you to anorexia, it’s dangerous.
