Does anyone else hate the fact that the Dragons don’t get a home game if they lose to the Eels?
This is my major beef with this 8 team system.
St George won the comp yet 8th gets a potshot at them and they have to play away if they lose.
Seems a bit unfair to just win a shiny shield and get some loose change for the end of season BBQ.
Couldn’t they predetermine the venues in the second week then they could bias it in favour of the top teams.

Well, I don’t think they will lose but it will be close.
I think it’s fair enough that if one of the top 4 teams lose and stay in the finals that they shouldn’t have a home game advantage. They already had that and they lost, so it’s not a great help to them anyway.
2nd week of finals, there isn’t really a ‘home game’ more of a ‘home state game’, which means if your home ground is one of the big fields like Suncorp and Broncos, then you get a home game but the other clubs in the state don’t get that, they just get to be in their home state.
I think they organise week 2 fine, I think it’s fair.
