How long to cook bbq country style ribs in crock pot?
I have 51/2 pounds. I browned them a little and put the crock pot on high setting. thx!
Crock pot BBQ country style ribs

Easy crock pot recipe for busy days and busy Moms.
Ingredients
6-8 Country style ribs
1 t. Cooking oil
1 t. Fresh cracked pepper
.5 t. Seasoned salt
1 t. Paprika
.5 t. White pepper
1.4 c. Apple vinegar
1 bottle BBQ sauce
Preparation
heat oil in saute pan, rub ribs first with cider vinegar, then dry seasonings (to taste), sear outsides of ribs, add sliced onions to crock pot, top with ribs, pour BBQ suace over ribs, and cover. Add 1/2 c. water if needed, as needed.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 – to your desired tenderness.
Serve either alone or shred with a fork and serve on buns.

Freezes well.
