Lucille’s BBQ artichoke recipe?

In Las Vegas we have many BBQ restaurants, but none make an artichoke quite like Lucille’s BBQ. Does anybody know the secret? I’ve tried numerous time to duplicate it, but have not even come close. Please, hook me up.
