Nc Barbecue Sauce
McDonalds in NC … Double Cruncher???
I was wondering if anyone remembers and knows the name of this sandwich. I used to get it all the time with an old friend. I live in VA and at the time was going to college right on the NC border. I would go to Mcdonalds in NC to buy this sandwich as they weren’t available in VA. (I figured they were just trying it out).
It was a double cheeseburger that came wih the bun, two patties, cheese, barbecue sauce, and onion straws.
The last time I had one was in Spring 2007, and I am under the impression they aren’t around anymore. (I don’t know I’m not close enough to NC now to know)
My friend and I are trying to remember what the name of the sandwich was. The only thing I can come up with is Double Cruncher … but he says I’m wrong.
I’ve tried searching for it online and can’t find it.
Does anyone know what it’s called???
