Order Ribs
What are the spheres on pork ribs?
I just ordered chinese food and on the ends of the ribs are hard, small, whitish spheres. They are a little smaller than a pea. Are they cartilage or fat or something else?
Your probalby describing the cartilage….chinese use spare ribs, that unless they get them in St. Style, they come with the rib cap. When they cut and trim, it will leave behind striations of cartlidge that run horizontaly across the top of the rib versus up and down with the rib.
