Outdoor Grill won’t work?

I have a Grill Mate stand outdoor grill. During the winter, we have cover it with a blanket. Now, the gas isn’t coming out. Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

Sorry if I didn’t make this clear. I wasn’t talking about a portable one, it’s a grill stand.

Check to make sure that you opened up the valve on the tank and the regulator. Lift the tank. If it feels light, you may need to have it refilled. If that does not work, close the tank valve, remove the hoses, grab the tank by the handles at the top, and hit the bottom of the tank (not the actual tank, but the ring of steel that the tank sits on) on the concrete. There is a float valve at the top of the tank that will occasionally get stuck, preventing it from releasing gas or being filled.
