What happened to Young’s Barbecue? I tried Parkers I think and its just not the same?
young’s closed in the fall of 2006 … had been there on Mt. Elliott for 30 years. I think there was a fire in the building last August or so.

yes, arson was the expected cause of the fire. I suggest you try Slows Barbaque on Michigan Ave about two blocks west of old Tiger stadium. It is the newest place for the young and hip and is actually vey good. Never met anyone who didn’t rave about Slows.
